Terms of use

• You need a valid email address, and you're responsible for keeping your password safe.
• One account per person. Don't share your sign-in details.
• You must be old enough to hold an account where you live, and a parent or guardian should set one up for a child.

The free plan includes a monthly scan allowance, a limit on how many recipes you can save, and a limited window of intake history. A paid plan lifts those limits. Current figures are shown on the pricing page and enforced in the app.

If paid plans are active, they renew each period until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your profile. Cancelling stops future charges and your account returns to the free plan at the end of the period you've paid for.

• Only upload recipe photos or documents you have the right to use.
• Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything containing other people's private information.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or work around the app's limits, or use it to resell scanning capacity.
• Don't use the app to give medical, clinical or dietetic advice to others.

Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or closed.

The recipes, photos and notes you add remain yours. You grant permission only to store and process them so the app can do its job — reading a recipe, matching ingredients, and showing you the results.

Nutrient figures are estimates produced by AI reading your recipe and matching ingredients to public food databases. They can be wrong or incomplete. The app is provided as-is, without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. See the nutrition disclaimer for detail.

To the extent the law allows, MineralPlate is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on the estimates it shows. Nothing here limits rights that can't legally be limited.

These terms and the app's features may change; material changes will be noted by the updated date on this page. You can stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.
