Your data in MineralPlate

• Your account email address, used to sign you in.
• The demographic answers you give in your profile — age range, sex and life stage — used only to calculate personalised %DV targets.
• Recipes you save: the title, ingredients, servings and nutrient totals, plus the cover image you keep with them.
• Your intake log: which recipes you logged, how many servings, and when.
• Usage counters, such as how many scans you've run this month, so plan limits work.

When you scan a recipe, the photos or PDF pages are sent to an AI provider so the text can be read and the ingredients identified. They are transmitted for that purpose and are not used to train models on your behalf.

The page image you scanned is kept alongside the saved recipe so you can look back at the original, and it stays with your account until you delete the recipe. If a scan is abandoned before you save it, nothing is added to your library.

If you generate a cover photo, the recipe title and ingredient names are sent to an AI image service to produce the picture. No account or personal details are included.

A copy of your saved recipes is kept in your browser's local storage so the app opens instantly and works when your connection is poor. Your account is always the source of truth. Signing out and clearing your browser data removes the local copy.

If paid plans are switched on, card details are handled entirely by the payment provider. MineralPlate never sees or stores your card number — only whether your plan is active.

• Your data is not sold, rented or shared for advertising.
• Your recipes and intake log are private to your account — no other user can see them.
• You are not profiled or targeted based on what you eat.

You can delete any recipe or logged serving from inside the app at any time, and deletion removes it from your account as well as your device cache.

To have your whole account and everything in it removed, email the address below and it will be deleted. Confirmation is sent when it's done.
